Looks like House of Tartan is now Scotland Shop. Their website lists Glengarry and Tam styles, but not Balmorals. Sent them a contact email to ask.

Oh well done! Please let us know how you got on with, perhaps, ordering a balmoral from them. It's always handy to know.

They have some inventory (Balmoral Navy and Black with Red Pom and Balmoral Green with Green Pom in stock). Sounds like not enough to add to the website. I'm checking if they have the size 59 that I need. Should know more tomorrow.

They have some stock Balmorals which are less expensive than ones made to order. If they have my size in stock, I'll pick from those and probably order a bottle green diced (like the link above leads to) at some point in the future.

I picked up a Scottish bonnet, think Outlander, way too warm for inside. Turned out to be great cold weather cap when I am walking dog. Just as well, female relatives don't care for it. Dog does not mind.

Somebody recently mentioned (here? on Facebook?) that some of the traditional Mackie colours aren't available now.

I recall Fawn being mentioned, I can't remember the others.

Sort of filling in the void left by some Mackie colours no longer being available are the bonnets made by Bear Hollow Clothiers https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61565332378404

They're not Balmorals in the traditional sense, but Tam O Shanters, constructed from flat woven fabric with a visible seam around the circumference like the military TOS.

He's made them in Fawn with the Fawn/Lovat Green dice border making a decent-looking approximation of the Mackie.
