    They're wearing the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders grey pipers' sporrans (except the Pipe Major, as usual) so I assume they're one of the several Battalions of that regiment.

    Sadly the pipes & drums of the Argylls has been disbanded.

    Here they are in their latter days. You can see the same sporrans as in that 1945 photo.
