    Lochcarron PCES 18th century colours

Lochcarron is now weaving Prince Charles Edward Stewart tartan in a similar colour-scheme seen in 18th century examples such as the Glamis cloth and the West Highland Museum trews.

They're calling it "weathered" though the colour-scheme is completely different to Lochcarron's "weathered" range of tartans (which was copied entirely from the DC Dalgliesh "reproduction" colours range).

The sett, however, appears to be more like the modern PCES tartan rather than the sett seen in the examples mentioned above.

Sadly they're only weaving it in blanket stuff:

How might Lochcarron be talked into weaving it in kilting cloth?
