Mystery Tom (? Piper)
Good afternoon all.
I have been handed this (yes rather poor...Is all that survives) pic of a Tom.
Looking at it I am opined its either a KOSB or A and SH piper, from 1918/19 with a wound stripe and his Mutt and Jeff ribands up.
Im seeing 2 plus maybe x3 tassles on a grey sporran. I note how he has his hands in just the right place to hind any further detailing!
May I have your thoughts pse?
Yours aye
Graham

For comparison, here's the pipers of 2nd Battalion KOSB around WWI. The tartan is Royal Stewart.
I don't have a photo of 1st Battalion, nor do I have a photo of either Battalion in Service Dress.

And here's a couple pipers of the A&SH, post-1881. Their Full Dress uniforms pretty much stayed the same up till the A&SH Pipes & Drums were abolished. The tartan is Sutherland/Black Watch.

I don't know how to attach a photo directly, what I do is use a hosting site, "postimages".
I have "My Gallery" there, where I can upload photos, click on the link, and put them here.
