Personally, I would be happy to see the day when kilts are so commonplace that they don't attract any attention! So don't be too disheartened, I know we all love to get compliments, but kilts are about comfort and freedom, and you have that!

I've found that most guys don't say anything bad, and when they do I find that asking them if I'm making them question their sexuality usually shuts 'em up for good. It's amazing how uncomfortable some dudes get when they think they might be attracted to a man.

Please do come to the coffee shop, I cannot handle all the love by myself
I think that should be a designated stop for anyone driving up to "The Gathering" in Vancouver. Those baristas would never know what hit them.

Hey Aaron. Yeah YOU. Pasty legs! Was it dark when you woke-up this morning? You accidentally get into the wife's wardrobe?
Jimmy, somehow I just KNEW I could count on you.

I hate to admit it Todd, but I'm usually one of those students.
But you're definitely right about the librarians. The lady that checked my books out for me was more interested that I had an unabridged copy of Emerson than anything else. We must have chatted about his writing for at least five minutes!

Aaron
Seems like the only comments I get anymore is when I don't wear a kilt

I'm a wage slave at Stanford, here in the SF Bay Area. If you're computer savvy, wear kilts, act all responsible and mature in every way except that kilt thing , and show up on time, I'll give you a job working in the library computer cluster when you get here! Honest.

I'm with Graham on this one. Although I don't mind positive attention, I would be happy to have people not even notice the kilt.
