A little disapointed.
Although I've been at X-Marks for quite a while, I've only in the past month or two owned a kilt. It's a 4 yard, poly-vis, Bear, Hunting Stewart, and I've never enjoyed a peice of clothing more in my life. Well, today I had my first "out and about" kilted experience. I went to the library.
NOT ONE SINGLE REACTION! Zip, nada, nothing, gornisht. No cat-calls, no looks, no sideways glances (that I noticed anyway), not even one snickering idiot! I couldn't even get anyone to make eye contact with me for Pete's sake.
I think my next trip is going to have to be to Colorado so I can visit Glen's coffee shop. I have a feeling he's hogging all of the fun up there. Either that or I need to visit a wilder place than the library.
