Glad it went well. Wearing a kilt for the first time in front of long time guy friends is more challenging than wearing it in public.
My big test was going kilted to my local AA meetings. They cut loose with the expected ribbings. I took them in stride and relied heavily on "my balls made parole" to defuse most of their teasing.
Now, I think if I showed up at AA in pants they'd be shocked. No longer an issue.
You might be prepared for your next kilted gathering. Some friends may be formulating questions...not necessarily derisive questions, but where can I get a kilt? questions.
