    That is a beautiful tartan, Martin, and the kilt looks to have been a purchase not to have been missed. Well done.

    Now to get personal (!): apart from the sporran chain , could it be that you are wearing the sporran itself a little too low for comfort?

    Thanks for the compliment Hamish, and for the advice.

    I thought you may have something to say about the chain, as did Davedove earlier but i don't own any leather straps at present. I personally prefer the look of a chain to straps but will not rule out purchasing some in the future.

    As for the position of the sporran, I admit I have trouble getting it in the correct place,and sometimes feel it is too high. It may have slipped a little in that picture!
