    Out walking in new kilt

Hi all, I just got back from a maiden walk in a 'new' kilt which I was fortunate to come across and win on ebay. I thought I'd share one of the pics i took whilst out.

It was a rather chilly (and breezy!) day, but a great outing all the same.

The tartan is ancient Paisley and is a full 8 yard wool kilt and a real joy to wear.

The pic was taken by a lovely old chapel in Warwickshire.

    You look great!

I love the colours of the tartan and the lovat blue hoses go very well with it.

    You've a "hey! it's 8 yards...I'm fine" smile on your face

    Out walking in new kilt

Looks great, the colours are nice and muted without being loud. Are you going to wear your kilt out and about more from now on?

You're looking good. My only recommendation would be to get a leather sporran strap to reduce the wear on the kilt material.

That is a beautiful tartan, Martin, and the kilt looks to have been a purchase not to have been missed. Well done.

Now to get personal (!): apart from the sporran chain , could it be that you are wearing the sporran itself a little too low for comfort?
