I've been to a local drug store (nearest "convenience store" there is) all the time, clad in kilt. Just yesterday, a lady asked "what's with all the kilts you wear?" All I could say was, "comfort."

    Culture Shock!

I was in an Army Barracks taking a shower when an Army female came in a showered next to me in what was a big square room with showerheads on the walls sort of like the shower scene in Starship Troopers. Well it was really wierd for about 10 seconds then it was normal.

I got a less than nice reception on two occasions in the past and in both cases it was from teenage girls. I guess that teenie boppers beleive that they have the exclusive rights to look good in tartan un-bifercated garments.

Well said, Jim. I am very seldom on the receiving end of any comments thesedays, complimentary or otherwise, but if I am asked, "Why?" my response is usually, "Comfort!"
