Wow! Absolutely smashing. (Never thought I'd say that looking at a man's ***.) Superb work.
Thanks for posting the snaps.

Very Cool about your McIvers at the other end of the island Turp.
And nope, Bradley, Kathy's not done with the RAF kilt yet but working with such a craftsperson its cool to plan ahead.
And the financial secret is I got divorced a long time ago so just me to buy for and support...okay, me and the cat....The lovely red haired maiden I'm dating makes more money than me so insists on paying for a lot of our adventures. Kilts and a lovely lady...life is good.
And, don't know how anyone could turn down the beauty of that tartan once they've seen it in a completed kilt, particularly when their blood is from Skye.
So much difference between a swatch and a photo of a kilt. Thanks Phil, Jim, and Barb for the pic posts.

Don't forget about Robin. It was actually his thread back in September (A Hole in One...Almost) that got me going, especially when he brought in a pic from Phil's thread from last spring.
Thanks Robin.

Barb, the Isle of Skye kilt is stunning. I have been a big fan of that tartan (an dht place it represents) for some time. Your work is incredible.
Just a brief thought for the next addition to the book. I am not a fan of the belted plaids myself, and I know it is not really relevant to the rest of the book, but perhaps a brief section on laying out a belted plaid, etc. With this, the excellent instructions for the traditional kilts, and the new comtemporary kilt additions, you would basically cover all spectrums of the different kilts available. Just a thought, as I said I would likely not use it, but I am sure some on this site would.
