    Just part of kilting.

Yesterday I'm in my bosses office and we're interupted by the big boss who makes a comment about dresses. I just told him the great line from this board, "If I wanted to dress like a woman I'd wear pants." Which flustered him and cracked my boss up...she's a lady and was wearing pants as usual.

I've been kilted at work for over two years, and full time kilted at work for over 15 months...still the comments come...

I'll take the FREEDOM and the comments over no comments and no freedom.

Amen to that; I'd rather have the freedom and confidence to answer any hecklers [though I haven't encountered any myself] that come along than to be stuck in trousers without heckles.

Perhaps the closest I have come to any jape in regard to my being kilted was a comment from a co-worker to my girlfriend, who replied that she wears the pants in the relationship. I responded with, "Of course; pants are for women. Men wear kilts." Other than that, I've never received any truly negative reactions.
