Very true Katmills. Over the years even in Scotland here, Ive had nothing but good remarks from the ladies from teens to well any age. The few stupid responses have been from young lads who seem to think it makes them big to pass a quick remark like Donald wheres yer troosers. The funniest thing that has happened to me wearing the kilt was in Glasgow one time. I was walking into the St Enoch shopping centre(mall) when 3 male teenagers shouted the usual stuff. 2 girls standing by came over and took each of my arms, shouting back to them' at least he knows how to dress himself properly which is more than can be said for you lot'. They quickly shut up. After a few polite exchanges 'love to see a man in a kilt, what tartan is it and do you wear it a lot they were on their way. Even said they wished their boyfriends would wear kilts more often instead of just the usual weddings.
Made my day anyway. From experience, the female population in Glasgow will defend a man wearing a kilt to the end.
