I live in SoCal, and any jacket I've bought in the past has been too heavy in winter. Temps during the day range from the upper 50's to upper 70's [seriously, it's ridiculous]. So, the rare occasion a jacket is needed, [at night for example] something like the MA-1 would be perfect.
