    A little secret... I can't knit very well. Hence the need for testing felting on crochet.

    I'd think the end result would be similar: a closing and tightening up of the body of the bonnet. The trick is to figure out how much oversize to crochet it initially...!

    Fulling "fullness"

    Hullo all
    I had thought that the knit bonnets should be more fully "fulled"... here is a closeup shot of the 19th century type that I made up... you can't tell where the stitches are
