Glad to help. Are you left-handed? I see you've got your sgian dubh in your left sock.

That outfit looks great and you wear it like a natural.

You sir, have just raised the bar. Next kilt night, I'm going to have to work very hard to 'spiff up' a bit!
Looks great! I found the PC I rented for my nephews wedding very comfortable to wear, more so than a regular sport coat or suit jacket. How is this one for comfort?

As far as I can tell the comfort is fine, bearing in mind that these jackets are meant to be slightly tighter than your everyday sport coat or suit jacket. ihad it on almost all day the first time and I will have it on for several hours next time I wear it.

Your Stillwater kilt looks great having seen it in person let me say you need not worry about not trying, it would be imposible to look like you had not been trying in that kilt. Taffeta not needed, will you be meeting up with KCW while he is up here?

Yes I am left handed, and I have worn the "for hire" PC before so that might help explain why it feels natural, I just thought I was at that age where I wanted the proper outfit for occassions such as Burns night etc. and to continue to hire out everytime seems like a waste of money. To tell you the truth I find it harder to dress down a kilt than to dress it up.

Me, too. I always worry about whether casual combinaions look good with the kilt. I have no such worries with the PC or Argyll outfits.

BTW - I have ghillie brogues and like them, but the shoes you're wearing are just fine.
