I owned a '98 and loved it. My ex ended up with it, unfortunately. I really like the Dakota/Durango platform. I've owned three Dakotas (a '93, a '97 and my current '01 4WD Quad) and they've all been great. I keep thinking I might trade my '01, but I really like the truck, it has very few miles on it and the new ones just don't appeal to me all that much.

If I could just find a way to milk some mileage out of it.

(If your Durango has the electronic display in the overhead console, do NOT look at the current mileage figure, it will scare you to pieces!)

Yay Dodge! Just tonight my 94 turned over 348,000 miles. Paint is coming off (you'd think that here at the tail-end of the 20th and dawn of the 21st centuries they'd have figured out how to make paint bond to metal - alas it appears not) but running gear is still going strong.
