    Congrats!

    ...but he really need to wear it somewhat higher (or the kilt is just too long) and the sgian dubh in the boot is not my taste

    Yeah the kilt is too big for him. We were at the Tulsa Scottish Days Festival and he was wearing pants. He was desperate. He bought the only blackwatch kilt he could find. He just had to get a kilt to walk around in there. He has now bought 2 others that fit right. As for that sgian dubh in his boot .... he likes sharp pointy objects. What can I say. He is my red headed step child. I do my best to guide him. His real dad thinks I'm a bad influence. You know, it is my fault that he is wearing a kilt everyday now.
