Bradley, I flew from Washington Dulles to London to Glasgow and took the train to Dumfries. My flight was expensive ($1200 round trip) but I STRONGLY recommend upgrading to something other than coach. On the trip back the plane was (due to the on again off again British Airways strike) nearly empty (24 customers on a 747) so I wandered back into coach.

I don't recommend riding back there for 7+ hours
