Grandfather Mt. Highland Games

Well, we missed this one last year, but would love to go this year. Does anybody have a website for the Games? How about campgrounds in the area? We would tow our trailer up.

You can camp at the games themselves. BUT there are no hookups for
waste water. IF you get there early enough you may be able to get
water and electrify (regular 110 outlets only). If you want to camp fairly (you will still have to ride the bus) close by with a hook up
PM me and I will give a couple of places I have. But this is not part of the games.

Check out clanskene.org. Click on their 'gatherings' link and scroll down the date list till you see July 12-15 Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. It has the events program and even ticket prices. You may be able to find links to campgrounds and such.

The games are fun. I went to the cove and heard lots of bands. Planning on going from The Chicago area this year. Last year I was in Greenville, SC. Living in Chicago now and wished I was back in SC. Oh well!
