spencer and tracy are the brand names, have nothing to do with scottish ancestery. go to there website, look up tux. find one with tails and then imagine it without the tails.

Spencer is an English and not Scottish family. The seat of the Spencers is Althorp in Northamptonshire.
These coats are not then "spencer coats" but some "Spencer and Tracy branded" coats? Spencer coats are open coats, often without buttons, cut at the waistline. What are these?
