Some folk might complain about the coat along with a belt and buckle.
I think it looks fine, but others do not share my thinking.
The face fuzz is the best part.

Your right...if I was wearing a Prince Charlie w/ a vest...however, this is a thrift store military mess jacket that I converted to a kilt jacket (jacket has no tails). If I could find a vest to match, that would be S' math sin!

The issue Dread is a belt with a waistcoat, not with a jacket. The belt and buckle looks great with a jacket. I don't know of anyone that would object to a belt and buckle being worn with a kilt jacket.
