Back in May and June of 1995 I spent 29 days canoeing the boundary waters between Minnesota and Canada and I have to admit that I didn't know when I was in Canada and when I was back in Minnesota while portaging from lake to lake...does that make me dense?

It's easy to tell when you're in Canader. It's when you have the urge to put vinegar on your fries, eh?

Edit: Almost forgot. It's also when the road signs say "Squeeze Left" instead of "Merge Left."

Yes the US doesn't seem to go in for vinegar does it?

I remember asking for it at my Philly hotel and the best they could produce was wine vinegar.

Yes, and in the States you'd climb up on the 'Ruf' to see where he was.
