10 mpg-empty, loaded, uphill, downhill. IHC used this same engine in dumptrucks and school buses. Built like a tank.
Any more vintage iron out there?

Wow Ray, NICE truck!! I love stuff like this!
I used to play with hotrods and custom cars, but haven't had anything since 2003. Maybe in the future I'll build something else. Here's pics of two of the beasts I used to have...
1923 Ford T-Bucket Roadster, with a 400-hp 396ci Chevy big block. And yes, we DROVE this car everywhere. It was never on a trailer. We put almost 25,000 miles on it. I sold this one in 1996.

1948 Chevy 1/2-ton. Chopped 3", Chevy 305ci small-block engine, auto, power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, 300-watt stereo system, etc., etc. We drove this truck almost daily from 1999 to 2003, when we sold it. It went to the Kent, Washington area, and had over 50,000 miles on it. This pic was taken at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

One of my old choppers, a 1970 Triumph Bonneville 650. I built this bike in 1983/4.
