I'd take a gold one!
It's a very apposite pin for the Maple Leaf tartan!

Well first I'll find out how many this person has to sell. I have never shipped product before but it shouldn't be too difficult. I suppose we could do it were I buy the bulk then ship out to each person or set up that those interested contact the seller individually and go that route. I apologize if this sounds shady, but thsi just started out as me gloating to others who've ordered the same tartan as I. It's just steam rollered, and in the end I'm going to have to find a new kilt pin just to be different .

I have one that's actually a brooch but it's a gaelic pig (or a hog if you wish) since I am the 4th or 5th member of Paddy's Pig on occasion, from Westlake.
(sidenote: the pigs are on hiatus since the birth of the "piglet" and the proud parents seek a trustworthy person to watch their little sweetheart while they play til 3am. Ah yes, balancing parenthood and bandhood - happily they picked the former over the latter. We'll be here when they get it sorted out)
CT - pig 5
ps: it's for my glengarry too

OK the good news 17 rabble ordered 27 pins.
Now the bad news the email I received is thus;
We have 11.
Total for the 11 will be 110.00 with s/h included & use this link to pay:
This offer is only for today as they are going fast...
I will purchase these 11 and we are going to have to figure out how to distribute them. I am sorry for this. I was really hoping for more and at a better price. The price will be $10.00 US and what ever it cost for shipping. Please re-evaluate your desire for this pin as you see we have more wanting than available. I am looking for suggestions as to who these 11 are.
Again I am sorry.

Grant, Ta for your efforts. You've done something very nice for the rabble.
As to how they are distributed, well, that seems fairly straight foward:
Limit to one per person, and either:
(1) go in chronological order from the two threads to determine the sequence of order;
or (2) offer first right of refusal to Canadians or those married/partnered to Canadians.
That said, I will withdraw my request for one in each colour to allow someone else to benefit.
I will wear my RCMP replica badge as a kilt pin with my soon-to-arrive Maple Leaf. I, however, would like to know the name of the vendor in order to watch eBay for possible future listings.
