My first outing with the kilt is this Friday. I'm a little nervous, but it's mostly for our first Kilt Night in this area (at least in a long time) I need to pick one of my friends up and we need to get to a couple stores first. At least this story doesn't make it seem that there was too much trouble.

They have it on their cell phone. It was such a surprise to us, that we didn't even ask them to email it.

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

Dont worry about C.H. after a while it is not such a big deal any more, and on the upside people will strike up a conversation with you because you are in a kilt who would never have otherwise (if my experience is any indication)
The other strange development is that people I know will ask me where the kilt is if I am not wearing it.
So go out and enjoy it, it's worth the few disparaging comments.

I like the bullet belt, wish I knew where to get one (other than stealing my friend's stedaughters belt. She also thinks I'm "the most awesome man" she's ever met cuz I wore my leather kilt the first time she met me).
Looks and sounds like a good time, no sideways comments.
CT - good day

I find that I stand straighter in a kilt, tend to stride purposely and just ignore the general population in bifurcated garments. There is an inherent level of superiority built in to wearing a kilt. You will enjoy it more each time!

In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

Yeah. I've noticed I'm more confident wearing a kilt then when I am trousered.
