The camera I used for the recent spate of pictures is a Konica-Minolta Z5 Hamish, that I bought in March 2005 for my trip to the USA.

I also have a Fuji Finepix S9500 which I bought for a trip to Cyprus but so far only used it for that as the Z5 is smaller and lighter, especially when flying.

I shall try to put the Fuji through its paces on my next Scotland trip though!

Ah, that is interesting, Trefor. I have only the one digital camera now and that is also a Fuji Finepix S9500! After two years of ownership I still have not switched from 'Auto' to 'Manual', but it is a great, if somewhat large, camera.

I loved my old Canon SLR with its case full of interchangeable lenses, filters, etc. (which I still have as there is no market for them thesedays) but there is no way I would lug all that gear around with me now, and as for the film processing........
