I think it's funny the guys wearing the UK who obviously are new to it and a little breeze comes through the trees, and suddenly there hands are down around the kilt making sure it doesn't go anywhere.
Also it is a ren faire, but you are right people just go how they want. Sort of a way to leave reality. The fox tails (when did that get associated with ren faires), and the all black, metal studded goth kids, the fairies, the guy who built a centaur suit. Ummm the other "mythical" creatures whose time frame from the Brothers Grimm don't even come close to the renaissances period. But it's all in fun and jest, so kilt on!
