    The Irish Guards wear solid saffrons, & I defy anyone to tell them they're a bunch of girls...

    Me, I prefer tartan, but I have 2 solid blacks, I dont think I look like a girl in them. Neither does my wife.

    Just to clarify, in the Irish regiments, usually only the pipes and drums wear kilts -- the only kilted Irish regiment, to my knowledge, is the Canadian Irish Regiment.
