You could be right about the little Canadian flag being less durable - while the flag on my Cargo kilt still looks fresh I've failed to find one in the corresponding place on the Cadpat - either there never was one on Steve's earlier kilts or if there was it washed off.

Alex it is possible that the earlier FK's did not have the flag detail. As for my concerns of the durability of the flag my be unfounded, we have yet to hear from the master on both regards. I've come to the awareness that I need some sand coloured socks to complete the look and will be checking out my local army surplus store (owner is a fellow CG volunteer I might add). On the older Canadian fatigues is a small Candian flag (roughly 1½" x ¾"), red and white in peacekeeping missions and two shades of green for combat. If you pm me your shipping address I shall send you one for your CADPAT kilt. Needle & thread will be your responsibility.
