What? You don't like the legs? 
It might be a little high, but the camera was sitting kind of low as well. And if it sits right on the hips, the kilt end up below the knees. Then I get to hear people telling me it's too low. You can't satisfy everybody.
The belt will have to be wide, no doubt. I was thinking something along the lines of the pistol belt maybe.
