    I tried to add this to my original post, but the edit feature seems to be gone to its happy place...

    You, of course, put the canvas between the inside of the tartan and the light cotton liner that is already installed in the kilt. You may need to detatch the lowet edge of the liner if it's sewn down, but all my SWK's have the liner hanging loose, if I recall correctly.

    Edit still not working....I mean "lower", not "lowet".

    Smilies aren't working either....

    By the way, how are the straps holding up on your Black Watch e-tanks?

    eh...they are ok. with the fairly poor initial construction, I don't wear them much.
