As P1M would say, Are ye DAFT man?! You'd never catch me out there in anything that couldn't seat at least 250 for dinner.
I am planning on doing exactly that.... ...I've done it before, in 1996. This time I'll be racing. That time I was a tag-along.
Nor Cal Rabble, weather on the coast is turning out to be much easier than the early-week predictions had it. Instead of 20-30 knots of wind it should be 10-20. Allt he buoy reports show a decreasing trend. I'm going to drive down to Santa Cruz tonight and launch and get a few hours sleep, will probably head out around 3:00 AM. So sample a wee dram for me tomorrow and tomorrow night, and send good thoughts. Should be a passable-nice sail up the coast to Ankle Biters new home in Alameda.
