The difference between the pound and the US dollar right now make these even cheaper for anyone in the UK.

I think the buy it now price indicates a reserve far above the stated budget. This one is also from GGH

Daz if you are in Edinburgh check out Armstrongs in the Grassmarket. They quite often have second-hand ones. I know some of the tartan army guys have them.

I'd suggest trying to figure out a way to see what these actually look like before you order. I ordered one of their black leather Glens, and it was OK - about the quality I would expect for what I paid (which was quite a bit less than a wool Glen made in the UK). Acceptable, but not top drawer.

Barb I understand its hard to tell the quality from the pic, work starts next week on the coublet and i think you and my mum would hit it off in a big way with the needlecraft, Ill post regular updates- Im such a strange shape 6.2 thereabouts, but my wingpan fingetip to finger tip is 78 inches, so my wingspan i MORE than my height which is very unusual in humans (but not apes/monkeys), in fact it can be a symptom of a condition known as "marfans syndrome" which i underwent a series of test for when i was younger conclusion: no marfans its just how i am, so i end up looking like "herman munster" with off the peg stuff.
