Please tell him according to a controlled study at a land-grant University that Must Not Be Named (if I know what's good for me), it is essential that the chickens be planted head UP, not head down.

As the graduate of a large university located in your fair city I'm sure I know which other said university you are referring to. THAT joke made my day!

    Gentle Readers,

My thanks for the enthusiasm you have shown for the brief beginning of this new tale. There are a few celebrations to prepare for, attend, and recover from over the course of this weekend. Which I am afeared will impede my progress on relating this story. I shall endeavor to have another installment written by Monday afternoon.

I doff my plumed hat and raise my glass to all of you.
