I'm just glad to know that no one other than the attackers were hurt and, it seems, no one is going to let it stop them living their lives.
I'm saddened by the fact that a lot of my Asian friends have had abuse directed at them, but I think that as a community we can get by it all.
I agree it may have been directed at Gordon Brown as the new PM.
What I'm also remembering, though, is that on the 7/7 attacks they warned that by the end of their plans 'The four corners of the U.K. will be burning.'
And since then I've been waiting for terrorist attacks in Scotland, Wales, Ireland etc.
It's a sad mess, but I'm glad they weren't more technologically and scientifically aware, as GlassMan pointed out.
One of the few things comforting me so far is that so many of these so called Jihadists don't seem to have recalled any of their training very well.

Alex Salmond paid a visit to the scene and was quick to point out the strength of all communities in Scotland and that it appears the arrested suspects have not lived in Scotland very long.
Only individuals do these things, not communities.

Hear, hear! I wish more people of the world could realize this.

I agree with this completely.
I meant that I feel like as a community of Scottish people of various ethnic descent we can get over the whole incident and not always feel the need to blame people of one skin tone or another for it all.
It was individuals who done it, as you said. And not the whole community.
