SHOULD a guy wear a mini-kilt?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!
don't overreact, please.
I too would have answered, no, I would not buy a mini-kilt.
But, having acquired one inadvertently and, thanks to its quality, tried wearing it, I have found out that it is rather nice not to have any cloth rubbing round the back of the knees.
I'm tempted to say: Give it a try before letting your prejudices speak for you.
I have a friend who has been wearing very short white socks with his kilts (regular tartan full-length). I think this looks awful, but who am I to tell him what is right or wrong? Just because I have prejiudaices about white socks looking girly, does not mean everyone thinks the way I do.

So I have to try it before I can dis it?
I hate to sound callous here, but "wearing a mini-skirt" is the sort of thing I can put into the same category as "eating styrofoam" or "riding a unicycle" -- they're all stuff that I'm so reasonably sure aren't going to work for me that I can happily dismiss them without the "benefit" of experiencing them.
It's judgement, not prejudice.

What do you have against eating styrofoam?
As for buying a mini-kilt... Only for a female acquaintance that would actually wear it. Otherwise, no. I like my kilt at the knee, thank you very much.

I think that's an important point. I've had occasions to wear skirted garments of different lengths, and sometimes a kilt at it's proper length is too long and sometimes it's too short. But fiddle with the length too much and it's just not a "kilt" anymore.
Then, too, being mostly guys here has an impact on your answer because guys don't usually look at other guys in a kilt for the same reason a girl will look at a guy in a kilt. Why do us guys like mini-kilts on a girl? Well, for much the same reason my female friends were asking for a mini-kilt on me! (Maybe my legs don't look all that bad, after all...)
Wade.

Actually, the implications about the manhood would not be able to stand up to the exposure of his "manhood"!

Tell me, which one is this? Be very careful when you answer that question!

Thank you! Actually, that is a Purrfect Girl shirt, from my sister-in-law's lingerie shop of the same name, but I appreciate the compliment (as any red-blooded American girl would).
Be well,

You look very nice in that mini kilt. I, myself, would not (especially with the fishnets and pumps).
