I find light green, bottle green or black most useful - tend to go with all my kilts. I have a creamy white pair but think they look far too formal and just asking to get dirtied too easily for casual use.

from Wyoming. I have a pair of off-white and 3 pairs of black. I find that I am wearing the black ones a little more often. But that doesn't mean anything. It could very well be it is because I have extras of those.

    Welcome for Kansas City!

I have worn white and black. I have a pair of red but my wife said "no, no, no..."
Because I have very little knowledge in the fashion sense, I have not worn the red ones yet.

I bought a pair of House of Edgar Lovat Blue ones that sort of go with the green, because they have green in the sox. As soon as I figure out how to load the pics I will. I will order a bottle green pair in the future because it looks like they go the best.

Thanks for all the advice and help guys.

I usually wear, black, navy blue, or bottle green myself. Sometimes oatmeal, as shown in my avatar. Lately, I've been wearing my UK frequently, so it's whatever I feel like wearing, usually.

If you have a kilt with a red stripe in it, red kilt hose will look great with it. There are several shades of red out there, just be sure to match the red to the stripe in your kilt.

The red hose in this photo are actually Brick Red, (courtesy of Matt's expert color matching eye) they match the red stripe in the kilt.
