I was in Florida earlier in the summer for a wedding. My wife and I went to an outlet mall near the hotel. The temperature was in the 90's so with my kilt, USAKilts Scotland National, I wore a knit shirt and Crocs (similar to clogs). Since it was hot I chose not to ware hose. The only comment I got was a man that walked past and made the comment "No sgian dubh" as he walked past.
I find it interesting what comments you get. Frequently they don't seem what to want to directly comment on the kilt, so they find something else to comment on.
