So he came home not wearing the kilt. But it was because of a we little bit to much mud puddle at lunch time. His teacher handed it to me in a plastic bag, and said she hoped it wasn't ruined. I assured her it wasn't and we went on our way. We hadn't made it 10 steps to the car when one of the bigger kids ran up and asked my son if he was the one wearing the kilt. My kiddo answered in the affirmative. The other child said that was so cool and he was going to go ask his mom for one of his own.
So a good day for my little man. I am so proud! And it turns out that he may have started the new dress craze with the school age set.
