You name it, the Galactic Patrol wins. First of all? More powerful psychics than the Jedi. Secondly? The Empire controlled one galaxy, while the Galactic Patrol conquered their way through two in pretty quick order. Third, they have the Q-Helix, which bores through Federation shields like tissue paper. And fourth? Doc Smith invented space opera, and spent four novels trying to think of more powerful superlatives to describe the ships of the Galactic Patrol!
The Death Star? Phu-lease! The Emperor was a piker! The Galactic Patrol used black holes in opposing orbits to destroy whole solar systems!
