Try this for a kilt pin. It's nice and heavy...

Thanks to PiobBear for the idea, someone else for the link to the Antietam museum store.

No Irish in me, to speak of, but I sure do like that pin!

    The price is right too!

I'm not one for censorsip, but you might have to put a tiny shirt on her if you wear that kilt pin to pipe at school!

Surpise An Inexpensive Kilt That Really Fits Well.

Wore the SWK Irish National Tartan kilt to the gig on Saturday...great response from the home team crowd.

It fits me better than my personal 100% wool, handmade personal kilt and almost as well as my heavier 100% wool handmade band kilt.

What a pleasant surprise...a value that lives up to the advertisement.

My band kilt was altered for my personal measurements by Brunett's in Canada. I will be sending my personal kilt off to them soon to have them alter it in the same fashion.

SWK is pleated to the set and is quite well done
Personal kilt is pleated to the stripe
Band Kilt is pleated to the stripe (military style here...very narrow pleats.)

Nuns have a weird sense of humour.

I remember grade seven and Sister Bernadette telling us about her holiday and swimming. That lead to her telling us that she wore a black bikini, seeing as she was at a nun's camp. That lead to Zorro visiting the class next day, and Sister Bernadette telling us that she was joking and thought we understood that.

    Ah, yes...so it is!

Once, when teaching at a school called St. Patrick's, I wore an Irish National kilt in honor of our spirit day. I was teaching grade seven English and reached up to write something on the chalk board (I'm rather short, about 5'1")...of course, when I reached up, the kilt fell right to the floor!

With a bit of a red face, I'm sure, I turned to my class and exclaimed, "Aren't you glad I'm wearing gym shorts under the kilt!?" I also told them I didn't want to get any phone calls from moms claiming that "Sister flashed the kids in class today"! Thank Heaven for those lovely LONG gym shorts!!
That was the first AND last time I wore that kilt!
