lol, neat. It always a good thing to see "the brothers" accepting the Scot dress, let alone lending you a musical take on a new thing.

    Cheers

    odd reaction the other day...

I was going to an event, semi-dressy, so had on my MacDonald PV kilt, with hose, tie, waistcoat, etc... I walked into a convenience store, made my selections and proceeded to the counter... the girl behind the counter (early 20's I'd say) actually came out from behind her counter, looked me up and down, went back behind the counter and asked if I was from England! I tried to keep a straight face, and responded "No, but close..." and before I could explain about Scotland, she actually burst in with "London?" I felt like Jay Leno doing a street-walking clip for his show.

Most of the people I encounter daily at work and around the 'hood are in fact black. In my limited kilting experience, black Americans are generally among those who have the least to say about what I am wearing. Black people from abroad often talk to me about relatives who served with the regiments

Now if I could just get the "majority" here on the shore to behave as well as "the brothers" life would be grand.

checkout KoRn! the singer wears kilts and plays bagpipes! one of thier piped songs is "shoots and ladders"

Then their is AC/DC and The White Stripes.

I've had a few black friends compliment on my kilt, heck i recommended them to wear one(not sure if they took it though)
