    those look great Arlen. I like tradition that the groom gives the bride a blade to hand down to a future son, thats a nice tradition, I may have to add that to my up coming wedding as well. do you know any more traditions like that? I would also love any advise on Scottish weddings, since Im planning mine there in 09. if you PM me any info that would be great

    - drinkin' the watter o' life tegither frae a quaich...

    - tyin' the knot wi' oor tartans...

    - an we had an audience participation/drinkin' cheerin' ceremony....

    it wuz a' guid fun...

    Guid stuff, mawn!!! ACH, aye! Absolutely brilliant.

    This is just the kinda stuff that I want to make my wedding true blue Scottish! Is there any way you could oblige me with where I might obtain more details on these ceremonies, especially the handfasting and recommendations on guid toasts? My sweety and I are planning to "tie the knot" (literally) on the Winter Solstice this year!
