problem with "non scottish companies" doing tartans is that they often get them wrong.
They probably didn't do the IOS tartan b/c it's privately owned and they didn't want to pay a royalty to use it.
The do get an "A for Effort" however for using Scottish models ON SKYE. That's a "stand up company" that at least they're supporting the culture they're manking money from...

Rocky, that's a really good point, and if they did get some of the details wrong maybe we can overlook it. The show Skye and Scotland in a very good light.
Maybe someone should show this to the Gold Brothers.
