My 10 November was a good day too.
I started the morning off like all good Marines, getting up early and doing more before 8:00 am than most people do all day. I went over to one of our hospital accounts and assisted in getting their annual flu shot clinic set up. It's a pretty big deal, they get several hundred elderly coming by for their flu shots. It's a drive thru clinic (shots in your car!) so we have to coordinate for hundreds of vehicles coming by in a short time.
I got out of there by 8:30 and made it to my nephews soccer game, then later to my nieces soccer game and their ice cream party afterwards. I got some comments on the kilt, asking about my heritage and such, and I got an opportunity to tell them about the USMC birthday (Leatherneck kilt w/ khaki dress shirt, very much like the Charlie uniform)
From there it was home with the wife, had some family over for dinner, and spent a relaxing evening before heading off to bed.
