Well that's just cool! The only problem I would see is getting rocks of mud stuck in the coil. So an enclosed version would want to be used for inclement weather.
Nine pair? Are you starting to transfer your kilt fasination over to something else? Really nine pair?
My total shoe count only comes to eight:
Formal black slippers
Canvas walking shoes,
Leather walking shoes, black
Leather walking shoes, brown
Crocs x 2
sandals x 2
When they wear out, I either get them re-soled if possible, or throw them away if not.......... Nine pairs of go-go-gadget-go jumping shoes seems like overkill.
I do have a few pairs of boots, but we are talking shoes here.
Was the lady in question related to Imelda Marcos?

I actually, since you are not counting boots, have more kilts than I do shoes (8 kilts and 4 pairs of shoes) That doesn't count my sandals which serve more as a pair of slippers. Of course I do have 3 pairs of hunting boots, two pairs of work style boots, 3 pairs of golf shoes, and two pairs of bowling shoes.

Dang,
WhoDey still doesn't have a pic of his Scottish National to the stripe...hate to yank his thread when he's in need...not fair.
Just to get the shoe police interogation over with...yeah, I am an addict...don't much matter if its booze or shoes.
got the original blue and white tennie when that's all Z Coil made
Then have two white tennies - one mesh for summer, one solid for foul weather.
Then same for black - one for heat, one for foul weather (remember it gets over 110 out here and a closed shoe gets toasty.
then they finally came out with a brown...closed, no mesh yet.
And, I hike so I have the grey hiking boot and a brown hiking boot.
And I have the enclosed spring boot.
It takes about thirty seconds to get used to walking in Z Coils. They are flat, not a high heel like a cowboy boot. If I stumble, they give me a second chance to recover - a gift I never expected.
Don't have the mud problem on the springs. Website is best for the curious.
And meantime...lets see if we can find WhoDay his picture. Feeling bad about this unintentional hijack.
