I don't think William Wallace had any children. Edward III was born in 1312...William Wallace died in 1305.

I was, of course (and tongue in cheek) refering factual documentry 'Braveheart' by that highly credible and trusted historian, Mel Gibson.

heres a link to the Wallace Society, a good source of FACTUAL information

    http://www.drross.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

Id suggest that so little is known of Wallace that its impossible to say for sure if he had any children, there is no evidence that he did, however thats no reason to rule out the possibility.

    It was a long pregnancy.

The Wallace connection comes from the directors visit to Scotland, Randall Wallace visited Edinburgh castle pointed up to the statue that is by the main gate of the castle and asked a guide "who was that guy with the same name as me?" Historions may mock Bravehearts accuracy but I can tell you in 1996 you came put of the pictures with the heart of a lion after watching that film, it was a sensation. Gibson was Wallace- hang the accuracy, hundreds and hundreds of years after his death, Wallace stirred the heart of a nation, and his belief that it was wrong for a powerful nation run by a psychopath to dominate, plunder and loot smaller nations holds fast throughout history and to this day. Mike thanks for the pics, one day I shall shake the hand of the patriot that is sir David Ross.

Daz, as we walked from the churchyard at St. Kentigern's that evening, a pal of mine from Perth very quietly said, "We just took part in a historic moment, do you realize that?"

Here's a video that was made at the Wallace Memorial in Robroyston on 3 August 2005, the day Ross set off for London. Ted Christopher's I'm Coming Home comes in around 3:52.

Actually, I wouldn't have thought Ross was continuing to use that title. Having knighthood bestowed by a poseur doesn't mean much, I should think.
