    He is the drummer in a punk band and a tattoo artist, so maybe he wants the pink for shock value?

    You and I are in total agreement here. I'm gonna keep working on him. But, I will also keep looking for a tartan with pink in it, so when I can't find one, he can get, as you said, "a proper Campbell kilt."

    He always teases me about my "man-skirt," yet he asked me to find him one for his wedding. I think I may turn him yet.

    That's playing with fire. A bride is likely to react to that photo with a "YES! YES! That's just what I want for ALL the groomsmen!"

    Far better to keep the pink to the most disposable of all the accessories.
