That's great!
Maybe lets expand this to include t-shirts to wear (or hats or..?) while not kilted as well...
About my "who cares if I'm Scottish" comment. The way I see it, is that someone assuming that I'm Scottish just because I'm in a kilt is ignorant. I could be Irish. I could be some other nationality. Frankly, it doesn't matter what you are. If you enjoy the kilt, then by all means, wear it!
I wouldn't wear something offensive whilist kilted, however something funny and whitty, like I mentioned earlier, would be fun.
I am Scottish. My G. Grandfather came here (the U.S.) a long time ago. He used to wear a kilt a lot, and the accent left over enough that there was no question where he was from. I used to spend weekends at his place when I was growing up. In fact, I would have his accent when I came home and it would get me into trouble! It still creeps into my vernacular when I get tired or am around it a bit.
The point is, I AM Scottish and proud of my heritage, but I don't see that as a requirement for anyone to wear a kilt.
Hey, how about a shirt with something like the superman "S" but a "K" instead? For....Kiltedman!?
Ha!
Peace, out.
